LSA Denver

On 6-9 June, I travelled to Denver and presented a paper at the annual Law and Society Association Conference.

It was a great occasion to meet friends who work in socio-legal studies and live in different cities or countries.

I revisited a paper I published in 2022 about cultural heritage in Burma, something I've been wanting to do for a while now, in light of more recent events in the country.

Another highlight of Denver was the Denver Art Museum. I had read negative news about the museum, prior to my visit. Journalists called the museum out for its unethical practices. I cannot help it, the pieces they show are unequivocally wonderful.
